Mercedes-Benz has locked in pricing and specifications for its updated A-Class range ahead of the arrival of 2016 models early next year.
For 2016, the same five variants will carry over but some engine outputs have been improved. The updated A-Class also brings a refreshed look both inside and out, but prices have increased.
The range again kicks off with the A 180, powered by the same 90kW/200Nm 1.6 litre four-cylinder petrol engine as for 2015. Fuel economy is also unchanged at 5.8 l/100km.
Two A 200 models are next in the line-up, with the cheaper petrol variant getting a small boost to power for its 1.6 litre four-cylinder engine. Outputs now measure 115kW and 250Nm, but fuel consumption hasn’t suffered - still measuring 6.1 l/100km.
