Mercedes-Benz has taken out a hot trifecta at this year’s World Car of the Year awards, with the winners announced in New York today.
The new midsized C-Class rolled away with the overall World Car of the Year award, while the top Performance Car and Luxury Car awards went to the new AMG GT Coupe and S-Class Coupe models.
In winning the overall prize, the new C-Class beat out a strong list of contenders that included the new Ford Mustang, Hyundai Genesis, Nissan Qashqai and Volkswagen Passat.
